I recently defended my PhD in the Philosophy Department at Brown University. Currently, I am a Sawyier Fellow at Illinois Institute of Technology in Chicago, where I have been creating and teaching two philosophy courses per semester since Fall 2018.
My main interests lie in ethics and moral psychology. Further fields of interests include Non-Western ethics, Kant's practical philosophy and the history of modern philosophy more broadly. My research so far has focused mainly on the nature of well-being, and the role of emotions and desires in morality and motivation. When I am not pursuing my research interests or my passion for teaching, I enjoy spending time with these two.
